Amazon Selling Partner API support
UMEEZ LTD is an independent UK marketplace growth agency based in Birmingham, supporting ecommerce sellers since 2020. This page describes how we use the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) on behalf of our managed clients who sell on the Amazon marketplace, how we protect their data, our support hours, and how a seller can authorise UMEEZ for account onboarding.
1. Service scope
We use SP-API strictly to operate the marketplace services our clients contract us for. Endpoints we access on the seller's behalf include:
- Orders, Shipments and Notifications
- Listings, Catalog Items and Product Type Definitions
- Inventory (FBA & FBM) and FBA Inbound / Outbound
- Reports and Data Kiosk (sales, traffic, advertising, settlement)
- Finances and Settlement reports
- Feeds (listing, price and inventory updates)
- Sellers, Tokens and Notifications for operational health
Marketplaces supported: UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, SE, PL and IE.
Use cases: day-to-day account management, listing & inventory operations, performance reporting dashboards delivered to the client, and PPC reconciliation.
2. Data handling & security
- Access only with the seller's explicit authorisation via Login with Amazon (LWA) through Seller Central.
- All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher; data at rest is encrypted on UK / EEA infrastructure.
- LWA refresh tokens are stored in restricted secret storage with least-privilege, audited access.
- Personally Identifiable Information from Amazon orders is purged within 30 days of the order date unless retention is legally required.
- If a seller revokes authorisation, all derived PII is deleted within 30 days of revocation.
- Sub-processors: cloud hosting and managed database providers under contract — no advertising, profiling or data-sale third parties.

3. Support hours & SLA
- Standard support: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 GMT.
- Response: within 1 UK business day for all standard enquiries.
- Critical incidents (suspected data breach, authorisation issue, account-at-risk): acknowledged within 4 hours, with 24/7 monitoring of hello@umeez.co.uk.

4. How to request authorisation / onboarding
- Email hello@umeez.co.uk or use our contact form with: brand name, marketplaces, Seller ID and the scope you need.
- We send a scoping call invite within 1 UK business day.
- Mutual NDA and Data Processing Addendum signed.
- Seller authorises UMEEZ via the Seller Central / LWA consent screen.
- Onboarding completed within 5 UK business days; access can be revoked at any time from Seller Central.
5. Compliance
UMEEZ LTD complies with Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy, the Data Protection Policy for the Selling Partner API, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The data controller is UMEEZ LTD, registered in England and Wales. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
